She rends her soul before me
and intones with her eyes:
"envenom me sweet lethargy
and hum my lullaby"

Indolence benumb, for naught and nothingness
but the euphony of my embrace

Here is the symphony
for those who wail, those who weep
Offered to comfort thee
ye who wail, ye who weep asleep

I am the fodder to maudlin consumption
The father of sympathy
I am release I am sedation
fade to black and welcome me

"I rend my soul before thee
and intone with my eyes
envenom me sweet lethargy
and hum my lullaby"

(the broken flocks penned and tethered
slumber in my carrion caress
and dream deep the dreams
of Cherubs and Seraphim
as I bleed their illusion
with each enervating breath)

Enfold me -
in the depth of your breadth
Hold me -
'till emptiness is all that is left
Call me -
with love in your heart and life on your breath
Hold me -
through the infinite of darkness
Enfold me -
in the depth of your breadth
Hold me -
'till emptiness is all that is left
Call me -
with love in your heart and life on your breath
Hold me -
through the infinite seas of darkness
